Pattern required- Windows on Point by Aimee Griffin

Fabric requirements:

 

Main fabric and outer border, 2 yard (large square)

Fabric A- 1 yd (Small Square)

Fabric B and C- 1 1/3 yard each (B- large rectangle, C- side rectangles)

Setting Triangle Fabric- 2 1/4 yard

Backing- 5 yards

Quilt will finish at approximately 84” square

Other Supplies:

          Sewing Machine with a new needle(80/12)

          Ό foot for your sewing machine

          Scissors

          Cutting mat at least a 18”x24” with rotary cutter (new blade)

          Glass head pins

          6 ½”x 24” ruler

          12 ½” square ruler

          Thread

          120” measuring tape

          Seam ripper

          Flannel backed table cloth, or your batting

 

Pre Cutting- to be done before class:

 

Focus fabric-

 Cut five 12 ½” strips

 Sub-cut into Thirteen 12 ½”squares

Fabric A:

Cut Five 6 ½” strips

          Sub-cut into twenty three 6 ½” squares

Fabric B:

Cut Twelve 3 ½” strips

Fabric C:

Cut twenty four 2” strips

Setting Triangles (can be done in class)

         Cut two 28” strip and sub cut into two 28” squares.

              Cut diagonally twice for 8 side, top and bottom triangles.

 

         Cut one 18 ½” strip and sub cut into two 18 ½” squares.

               Cut diagonally once for 4 corner units.
