Payment Is required when you register for a class

No Refunds for Missed Classes

  • Students may cancel a class up to one week prior to class and receive store credit.

  • We  request that students purchase class supplies at Quilt Patch Fabrics.

  • Teachers reserve the right to cancel a class if registration limits are not met one week prior to class date.  Minimum 3 students.

SMR or SMR means Sewing Machine is Required.

Beginner ... You've never made a quilt before, or it's been a long time, or you just like simple quilts.
Intermediate ... Must be comfortable with basic quilting skills.
Advanced ... You really know what you're doing.

Got the itch to learn how to quilt?  This is the class for you! Think of this simple table runner as a mini-quilt.

You'll learn: how to cut fabric, basic piecing techniques, apply borders, basic quilting, and how to bind your project.

No need to match seams on this quick and easy beauty!

We'll cut and piece the blocks for the "Youth" size.  Eight Fat Quarters is all it takes to make a lovely quilt in no time at all!

$35 plus pattern and supplies

Pattern includes both the youth size and a larger size using only 13 fat quarters!  After you make your favorite kid a quilt, then you'll be ready to make a larger one just for you in the New Year!

 Beginner Machine Quilting - Deborah
Skill Level--Beginner

 

This class will cover preparing your quilt top for quilting, information on threads, needles, batting and presser feet and choosing simple appropriate quilting designs.  You will use your walking foot and learn some basic free motion quilting techniques to practice.  Handouts will be available in class.  The first hour of class will be discussion/lecture, then we'll get to work!
